Interior Designer + Owner

Lauren found her passion in college during her first drafting class, organizing a space and creating good function by understanding scale and proportion.

Following her formal education at the Harrington College of Design, Lauren worked her way up the ranks until she was expertly managing high-end residential furniture showrooms in the iconic Merchandise Mart in downtown Chicago. While at the Mart she grew her hands-on experience with products, furnishing spaces, fabric-to-frame selections, buying, accessorizing, running a business, and working with designer clients on many high-profile projects.

Ellce Designs was founded in 2010 when Lauren started being regularly commissioned for design projects in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. The success of those projects coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit and love of interior design ultimately inspired Lauren to make the leap to business owner.

Over the years Ellce Designs has experienced incredible growth thanks to glowing client reviews and regular referrals. Whether you’re building a new home, planning a renovation or need help sprucing up your current home, our team is dedicated to guiding you through the process with ease.

Our new showroom features a curated selection of designer furniture, luxurious rugs, elegant lighting, captivating art, and an array of unique home accessories, available for purchase. Guests can also schedule a personalized 30 or 60-minute in-studio consultation for expert advice tailored to their home’s unique needs.

Sr. Interior Designer

Kym Cooper is a second-generation interior designer with an eye for space planning and passion for textiles. A Naperville native, Kym has been drawn to creative pursuits – particularly interior design, art, and fashion.

After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Illinois State University, Kym went to work for a Chicago-based interior design firm that specialized in high-end residential work. Her responsibilities included CAD design, assisting with selections, and client management. Kym then transitioned into the commercial design businesswhere she managed professional services clients and served as part of the design team for prominent Chicago architectural firms.

Today, Kym is a valued Senior Designer at Ellce Designs where her 20+ years of experience in both high-end residential and commercial design are being put to good use. She is known for her space planning acumen and talent for helping clients weave together sentimental pieces, on-trend elements, and timeless touches. Kym’s innate understanding of how to “solve the puzzle” of each clients’ unique space makes her an integral member of the Ellce Designs team.

Tati Manzur

Tati Manzur

Architect

Tati Manzur brings over 10 years of experience in Architecture to Ellce Designs. She is excited to fuse her architectural background with the creative process at Ellce Designs by bringing vision to paper. 

She has worked on a variety of project types including multifamily residential, aviation, educational, civic and commercial.  In her role as a Project Architect, she collaborated on projects from schematic design to construction, working with clients, consultants, contractors, and city agencies. Some of Tati’s notable projects are the McCormick Place West, a 700,000+ square foot expansion; The Legacy, a 72-story residential tower in downtown Chicago; and the FedEx Cargo Facility at O’Hare International Airport–a LEED Silver certified project with the largest green roof in Chicago. 

Tati graduated first in her class from Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela with a five-year degree in Architecture. She is a registered architect in the estate of Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Architects, AIA.

As Office Manager and Accountant, her financial expertise and years of experience in creative environments ensure the company runs efficiently, seamlessly, and sustainably. Jenny thrives in detail-driven roles, often wearing multiple hats to keep daily operations moving forward. She takes pride in supporting a talented, inspiring team and helping a thriving business reach its full potential.

With a professional foundation in corporate finance, my career began in banking before evolving into the technology sector in Silicon Valley – an environment that sharpened my appreciation for strategy, structure, and disciplined execution. Working across highly analytical, fast-paced industries shaped the way i approach every project: with intention, clarity, and a long-term perspective.


After starting a family, i returned to work through a more creative lens, transitioning into the world of interior design. This shift allowed me to merge my analytical background with a deep appreciation for design, aesthetics, and the emotional impact of well-considered spaces. What began as a creative pursuit quickly evolved into a focused professional direction-one rooted in both visual storytelling and strategic thinking.
Today, i work as a social media content creator in the interior design space, specializing in elevated, design-forward content that reflects a refined and intentional approach to modern living. My work highlights thoughtfully designed interiors, understated luxury, and the details that define timeless spaces. Each piece of content is developed with an editorial eye and a business-minding of brand positioning, audience engagement, and visual cohesion.
Mackensey Quintana

Mackensey Quintana

HOME & DESIGN SPECIALIST

Mackensey Quintana joins the Ellce team with an extensive background in retail management and residential real estate. And if you notice a familiar resemblance to Lauren, you’re right. They’re sisters!
Mackensey has deep roots in the Naperville community, having previously managed the local Gap store for more than 15 years. Her years of retail leadership, along with her genuine passion for customer service, make her a wonderful addition to the Ellce team and help ensure an exceptional experience for every customer and client.

In addition to her work with Ellce Home, Mackensey is a local residential Realtor, making Ellce the perfect intersection of two of her passions: retail and homes.

She is passionate about helping clients create spaces that feel both beautiful and personal. By listening carefully, understanding each client’s needs, and thoughtfully solving problems along the way, Mackensey helps transform a house into a home.

She especially enjoys helping clients discover functional, timeless, and classic designs that complement their homes and stand the test of time. For smaller projects or clients looking for guidance with specific selections, Mackensey also offers focused design support and furnishings selections, including in studio selection appointments.

Mackensey believes every project is unique and enjoys tailoring the experience to each client, providing as much or as little guidance as needed to make the process feel approachable, thoughtful, and enjoyable.
