Every project begins with an in-home consultation where we take the time to understand you, your home, and your vision. We’ll discuss how you live, what inspires you, your personal style, and how you want your home to feel.

We’ll walk through the space, take measurements, and discuss functionality, priorities, budget, timeline, and any specific needs or challenges. From there, we create a tailored proposal outlining our recommended services, project scope, and next steps. Once the proposal is approved, we move forward with a design contract and begin the design process.

With the overall direction established, we develop the design in greater detail, tailoring this phase to the scope of your project, from furnishings and renovations to new construction projects. We consider space planning, furniture layouts, architectural details, scale, function, and flow. Floor plans and architectural drawings provide a clear picture of the layout and how the design will take shape.

Depending on the scope of your project, we thoughtfully develop each layer of the design, from kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, and millwork to flooring, tile, stone, wall coverings, lighting, window treatments, and furnishings. Inspiration and materials boards, physical samples, and curated selections allow you to see and experience how the design comes together, creating a cohesive vision for your home.

With the design finalized, we begin turning the vision into reality. Ellce Designs manages the procurement process, placing orders, sourcing furnishings, fixtures, and fabrics. Bespoke and made-to-order pieces often require extended lead times, so this phase can take time. We carefully manage timelines, track orders and deliveries, and navigate changes along the way to keep the project moving forward.

Behind the scenes, we make site visits, participate in electrical walkthroughs, review millwork, and make refinements as needed, working closely with builders and trades to ensure the design is executed as intended.

Ellce Designs coordinates white glove delivery and installation with our trusted movers and delivery team, carefully placing your new furnishings, rugs, artwork, and drapery. Our in-house styling team then takes over, styling shelves, layering accessories, and adding the finishing touches that make your home feel complete.
